ServSafe® is the industry leader
for Food Safety Education
Ninety-five percent of all state and local health jurisdictions recognize ServSafe® as meeting their food protection manager code requirements. The ServSafe® Food Safety Program for Managers is the only course written by foodservice industry professionals for our foodservice industry. In this class, food safety and sanitation are presented in a practical manner through the discussion of procedures and tools immediately applicable in the workplace. This course provides attendees with the knowledge needed to identify and prevent foodborne illnesses, and will help them to identify problem areas in the flow of food throughout the foodservice operation. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by foodservice industry experts.
ServSafe® courses are conducted under the guidance of the National Restaurant Association Solutions group (formerly the NRA Educational Foundation). The States of Georgia and South Carolina require that every foodservice establishment and convenience retail operation that sells food employ at least one person who has been trained and certified as a Certified Food Protection Manager.
When you attend a ServSafe® course with the Food Training Group, you can be assured we know food safety in hospitality, lodging, and convenience retail.
